Zeev Primor, 75 years old, a Polish-Israeli struggle artist is invited for the first time in his life to present his beloved statue of „Don-Quixote” in Poland, from where he left in the 60's. Accompanying „Don-Quixote”- a huge wooden statue - Zeev goes back to his hometown Lodz where he expects to meet with recognition of the Polish audience! For Zeev, the journey is an unique opportunity to show the Polish what they have missed! But, instead of a „red carpet” and a fancy gallery, Zeev gets an exhibition in the middle of a mall next to children's toys stand; He gets kicked out from his hotel; And his beloved „Don-Quixote” dies in the Polish land! When Eli Barbur, a witty radio reporter hears that „Don-Quixote” flies to Lodz for the first time, he decides to follow him and make a research on him. Together, Zeev & Eli, set out on an adventurous journey from Israel to Poland during which they witness hardship, deportation, death, and a fatal meeting with beautiful Dulcinea! „No matter how many times they will kick your ass, fate will laugh at your face, as long as your mind is in wonderland, you will win them all!” (with love and appreciation to Zeev)
