Journalists - a radio report
Author: Anna Traczynska
Production: Adam Mickiewicz Institute, 2008, 23 min
Executive production: Against Gravity
Artistic supervision: Maciej Drygas, Mateusz Werner

This radio report is a collage of recollections, commentaries and most important articles written by journalists traditionally associated with the March campaign: Kaziemierz Kakol and Mieczyslaw Rakowski, as well as letters from their readers. It illustrates various personalities motifs and choices as well as the fact how they asses their stance towards the „Anti-Zionist Campaign”  after 40 years and how they deal with the way history judged them. It is also a discussion on propaganda, journalism, vocation and responsibility for one’s words. „I gave voice to the man blamed by history for his deeds in 1968 (Kąkol) and to another who, conversely, received a congratulatory card (Rakowski). It seems that everyone knows what they have to say. But did anyone ask them about it?”
