The material focuses on the character of Andrzej Kudesz who left Poland with his wife and child in 1969 and returned after 30 years in order to start a new life – with a new wife, in a village near Wroclaw. The report tells a tale of Andrzej’s love for Poland, Polish culture and… women. As a part of the „Farewells and Returns” project, the material shows the story of a man who returned to a country to which he never really said goodbye.
„Ten years ago I would spit in my own face myself, if I had said
something like this, but today I think that people should die where
they were born” - Andrzej Kudesz, fragment of the report
