Leopold Sobel

Leopold Sobel was born in 1946 in Warsaw. In 1964 he emigrated to Israel, leaving his parents in Warsaw. In the years 1967-1972 he was a student at Tel Aviv University. In 1977 he obtained a PhD degree in history of the Baltic Region at Leeds University. Afterwards, he completed post-graduate studies in education at Sheffield University (United Kingdom). In the years 1983-92 he was working for the UK Ministry of Defence. Since 2002 he has been editor-in-chief of the “Plotkies” internet magazine, addressed to the March’68 generation. He has participated in numerous meetings of this generation in Mullsjo, Ashkelon and other places. He is living in London.
Yossi Wein

Andrzej Zygmuntowicz

Andrzej Zygmuntowicz (born in 1951) is the president of the Artistic Council of the Polish Association of Photography Artists (ZPAF), in the years 1979-85 and 1989-91 he was the President of the Warsaw Photographic Society and in 1991-94 – president of the Polish Association of Photography Artists. In 1975 he founded a group of photographers “Everyday 44” [“Zwyczajna 44”], specialising in social and act photography. He is a co-organiser of the Polish Press Photography Competition. He is also active in photographic education, teaching, among other venues, at the ZPAF/CAK Photography Studies, ZPAF Studies, Collegium Civitas, Art Studio and Photographic Academy and the Reporting Laboratory of Warsaw University. He is the originator and co-author of a series of programmes on photography broadcast in Education Television. He has presented his work at more than a dozen individual exhibitions and more than 100 collective ones.
